What we do:
Platte Paratransit is a nonprofit organization in Platte County, Wyoming, serving Wheatland, Guernsey, and Chugwater. We provide transportation to medical appointments for people who are elderly, disabled, and otherwise unable to travel. Getting to dialysis in Cheyenne, chemotherapy in Douglas, and orthopedic care in Laramie are just some of the needs we've helped to fill. History:
We are a young organization, but the work we're doing has been done by another local nonprofit in Wheatland for over a decade. We have four vehicles of varying styles, including a wheelchair van for those that require it.
